The A.J. Fernandez New World Navegante Petit Corona Cigar is a cigar that is masterfully blended by the finest tobaccos from the richest regions of Nicaragua including Esteli, Ometepe, Condega and Jalapa. This superb cigar is a medium to full bodied experience that is box pressed with wonderful aromas of espresso, cocoa and pepper; these combine to provide a uniquely earthy experience.. Ismael Fernandez came out of retirement after spending 17 years with the Plasencia family, to team-up with his son, AJ Fernandez to create New World. AJ Fernandez explained that, in November 1492, Jerez and Luis de Torres first observed natives smoking as they were searching for the Emperor of China. Not knowing they landed in what is now known as Cuba, they came across natives that made rolls of palm and mais leaves in the manner of a musket formed of paper with tobacco on the inside. One would light one side and drink the smoke out of the other. The New World by AJ Fernandez provides a magnificent smoke that gets better the longer you smoke it making this cigar a delight for cigar aficionados and novices alike.
