You see Candela wrappers are nothing new, they just kinda got forgotten. Indeed for many years just about every new world cigar smoked in the USA (long before they hit the shore of the UK) was wrapped in Candela wrappers. Often considered the mildest wrapper tobacco there is they impart a slightly zesty note to a cigar. They are also a very delicate leaf which really does test the skill of the rollers!
