Cigar of the week. Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Flama

This months new world cigar brand of the month is Plasencia Cigars, if you haven't read our post about the brand and it's history you can check it out HERE. Each week we focus on one of the cigars from the brand that we think is an exceptional example.

This week our cigar of the week is the Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Flama

So why have we chosen the Alma Del Fuego Flama as this weeks cigar of the week?

Firstly, the vitola is not too common and often overlooked these days. Panatela's (6.5x38) were once very popular and they have an air of sophistication and elegance to them. Compared to the current trend for larger ring gauges you really will stand out from the crowd if you pull one of these out!

Secondly, for the quality of tobaccos used in them, they are a great value cigar, not a cheap cigar in the UK, but a great value one. All the tobacco used in the Alma del Fuego line is from Nicaragua and it uses a good chunk of Ometepe in the blend. Ometepe is known for it's strength, but in this cigar it is perfectly balanced, medium to strong and complemented to perfection by the slight sweetness from the Jalapa wrapper.

Finally, part of the box from these cigars is the Red ashtray you can see in the picture, so if you buy a full box, not only do you get 10 exceptional cigars you get a beautiful ashtray as well...

Oh and if you've read this far, you deserve a little treat! Check out this weeks special offer on the Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Flama cigars
